Institut Lyfe encourages respectful human relations and is committed to embedding a values-led approach across the school.
Each member of our community undertakes to uphold these values in all circumstances.

In an age when we continue to deplore the presence of unacceptable behaviour in our private and professional lives, Institut Lyfe is committed to promoting a society that respects all categories of people, without exception.

The aim of the #TimeForRespect scheme is to provide a safe framework for all members of the Institut Lyfe ecosystem, in order to prevent and discipline inappropriate behaviour, whether it be: violence, harassment, discrimination, sexual or gender-based abuse, etc...

The scheme comprises :

1. TO CLARIFY AND DEFINE

Our Relationships and Behaviours Charter which aims to align our conduct by providing a safe framework for our entire community, regardless of their position as students, supervisors, teachers, lecturers, suppliers, service providers or partners, or as companies hosting our students during their training period. It is intended to be respected by all, and under any circumstances.

Our Relationships and Behaviours Charter

2. TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND SANCTION, if necessary

A watchdog committee, a working and supervisory group that collects reports, processes them and decides on the measures to be taken, composed of :

  • Academic directors,
  • Programme directors,
  • The TM liaison officer,
  • And our Managing Director.

3. TO REPORT, even if in doubt (whether I am a witness or victim))

We are all responsible for preventing such behaviour and for ensuring that the core values of Institut Lyfe and the hospitality industry are upheld, so that relations between people remain as respectful as possible.
