A Solidarity Initiative by Masters students in favour of the Les Blouses Roses Association.
Last December, during the Concept Design & Development event (involving the 105 Master's students at Institut Paul Bocuse) the organisation team in charge of the event and the bar held afterwork events. Once the costs had been covered, this initiative enabled the students to make a profit which they chose to donate to three charities.
It was therefore with great joy and emotion that a delegation went last Thursday to the headquarters of the Blouses Roses in Paris to hand over a cheque to this charity organisation which works with people in hospital. The sum collected will enable the Lyon committee to buy supplies for activities or to offer shows to hospitalised children.
Thank you to the participants of these afterwork events; in addition to the pleasure shared in ‘Bar Lucienne’, they contributed to a good cause.
BRAVO to the students who show generosity, solidarity and values worthy of the Institute. A good deed that we hope will lead to many others.
If you also wish to support the Blouses Roses, here are some details.
For 76 years, the Blouses Roses have been working with people in hospital, whether they be children, adults or the disabled, as well as elderly people in nursing homes. Present in more than 378 cities, the 5,000 volunteers entertain, comfort, listen and bring joy to the daily life of healthcare and solitude by offering fun and creative activities. Recognised as being of public interest since 1967, the association is known and reputed for the seriousness and quality of its work in the healthcare establishments where it is present.
