To get the year off to a good start, let's begin by taking care of our physical and mental health. Our personal development specialist - Bilitis Talagrand (2015), Founder of Connexion Services - shares some tips with us:
1. I create my album of "+ praise”
I make screen shots of positive messages received by my friends, colleagues, family members:
- To boost my self-esteem during period of doubts.
- To remind myself that I have made a positive impacts on people around me.
2. I add movement to my day
- I think about getting up from my chair, stretching and moving every hour for a few minutes.
- I take the time to dance for a few minutes to my favorite music.
- I go for a walk for 20 to 30 minutes and thus come back more calm and rested.
3. To sleep like a Champion, I turn off the screens 90 minutes before going to bed
- I take the time to organize my things and my day after, my glass of water for when I wake up and read a few pages of my favourite author!
- This way I am calmer, ready to have a good night's sleep and wake up feeling full of energy!
