Two alumni return to Institut Paul Bocuse to participate in the jury of the "Trident d'Or" military culinary competition
On Thursday 9 June, Institut Paul Bocuse hosted the French final of the 4th edition of the international inter-army culinary competition, the Golden Trident. This "Bocuse d'or" of the Armed Forces allows the know-how of the Ministry of the Armed Forces' cooks to be showcased every two years. The winning team is invited to the international final in Fort Lee, USA.
The panel of experts and chefs was chaired by Thierry Marx and Marie Sauce-Bourreau, president of the ‘Toques françaises’. On this occasion, we were able to meet two alumni Project Managers for the Ministry of the Armed Forces in Lyon: François Parveau (2004) on the technical jury and Sébastien Wlodyka (2015).
Their roles involve Sébastien managing the food service offer while François, in addition to the e-learning training programme, has created and set up a steering committee for armed services food service and external service providers.
Just goes to show that training at Institut Paul Bocuse can lead to many different fields!
