Taking part in an exchange programme and attending a semester abroad is a great opportunity that Institut Paul Bocuse offers its second year students. The call for applications to make the most of this opportunity is still open and you should send your documents by 15 October (you can contact elena.camilletti@institutpaubocuse.com for further information).
Mobility is a two-way process and we are delighted to host 5 students coming from our partner schools. You may have already met them and, if not, do not miss the opportunity to get to know them, share their experiences and help them to feel good on our Campus.
Here is what they have to say about their first days with us:
“The orientation week was a great opportunity to meet other students of Institut Paul Bocuse before the classes began, with plenty of fun activities and valuable information about the school and the city in general. The teachers and students are all helpful and great people in general. The classes so far have been informative and fun, given their interactive nature. The first couple of weeks at Institut Paul Bocuse have been very enjoyable; I am excited to see what the rest of the semester will be like.”
Erika Somers, 2009 CMEA, from Waterford Institut of Technology, Ireland.

“My experience in the Paul Bocuse Institute has been wonderful so far. I was able to meet wonderful people from the institute as well as my classmates who made me feel at home. I am impressed with everything I have experienced and have known so far, and I am sure that in the four months that I will be here I will live and learn many more things. Wish I could stay longer. “
Gabriel VERGAS, 2009 CMEA, from UADE, Argentina.
"My experience at the Institute has been incredible since the very beginning. I am a mobility student coming from Argentina and I am at the Culinary Art Management program.
All the staff is super kind and always willing to help me in every little thing that concerns me. The classes are brilliant, my classmates are super friendly and the Campus it’s just amazing. But studying at the Institut Paul Bocuse it’s much more… is being part of a big and intercultural family. In my opinion, the exchange of languages, cultures and traditions is the perfect complement to a major experience.
I am already sad for being here only for one semester, I’d stay forever!”
Maria Agustina Rodríguez, 2009 CMEA, from UADE, Argentina.
"My experience as an Erasmus student at Institut Paul Bocuse so far is very interesting. I got an insight on how school operates, the way of teaching and school life, which differs from our reference in the Netherlands. I'm looking forward to see what future will bring. "
Anja Vlajinić, 2009 HMEA, From BUAS, the Netherlands.
“When I got the news that I was accepted for the Exchange Program at Institut Paul Bocuse I was so excited and I had high expectations for my time here. There is a lot to observe during these first weeks, but it has being quite an experience so far to get to know the professors, the classes and challenging to adapt to daily life at school, since my University in Breda is pretty different. Lyon is a beautiful and interesting city to explore and it has being nice to visit during our free time.”
Alessandra Martins Torres, 2009 HMEA, From BUAS, the Netherlands
We’ll host 4 more students in October! Be ready to welcome them in the warmest way you know!
